Santiago Junca received a Master of Science in Medical Illustration at Augusta University in 2016. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Georgia State University in 2011 and an Associate degree in Audio Production from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 2009. His skills include medical and scientific illustration, graphic design, 2-D animation, 3-D modeling and animation, and audio-visual communication.
His graduate education provided him with a firm foundation in the Health Sciences and a rigorous artistic training. This training emphasized scientific accuracy and the importance of creating a visual narrative that connects with the intended audience. His abilities have flourished in an environment that encourages team building and un-flinching drive to excel. Working under the guidance of practicing professional medical illustrators and physicians has honed his skills to be a valuable contributing member of any visual solutions team. He sees himself continuing to create impactful illustrations and animations.
